Washington, DC, June 29, 2016—If you’re an American, there’s a very good chance you will be enjoying a hot dog this weekend. The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (NHDSC) estimates Americans will eat 150 million hot dogs on July 4th alone. The Independence Day weekend also kicks off National Hot Dog Month, a celebration of our nation’s iconic food.
