MLB Fans Predicted to Eat More than 19 Million Hot Dogs in 2018
Washington, DC, March 28, 2018 – It’s a marriage of two American icons -- baseball and hot dogs -- and the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (NHDSC) estimates that baseball fans will consume more than 19 million hot dogs and 4.6 million sausages during the 2018 Major League Baseball (MLB) season. Washington, DC, March 2, 2018 - From college dorms to workplaces to family gatherings and on social media, food debates provoke strong passions. This is especially true for debates about hot dogs and sausages as the “Is a hot dog a sandwich” and “Should you put ketchup on hot dogs” questions have divided friends, family and even some cities for years.
